► PGA TOUR Superstore Controlling Owner Arthur M. Blank Donates $1 Million to The First Tee

Joining more than 300 golf professionals from the network of PGA tours in supporting The First Tee, the PGA TOUR Superstore provides chapters with equipment donations, tournament sponsorships, training and clinics and customer fund-raising events. In partnership with The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, the PGA TOUR Superstore makes grants to chapters where the stores do business.

Through The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, Mr. Blank will donate $1 million to The First Tee, supporting the youth development organization’s goal of reaching 10 million new young people from 2011 to 2017. The donation will enhance The First Tee’s ability to expand its programs to additional locations, including elementary schools and youth organizations, and train more adults as coaches, mentors and leaders in the program.

Mr. Blank will also become part of The First Tee’s Trustee program, which includes individuals, corporations and foundations that support the organization’s mission.

First Tee chapters listed below have received grants in 2010 or 2011. The Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals.
