AMB GROUP NAMES BRIAN FARLEY
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

ATLANTA, September 21, 2004 – AMB Group, LLC, announced today the appointment of Brian Farley as Director of Communications. Farley will be responsible for all communications activities of The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, with emphasis on working with staff and grantees to advance the Foundation’s new strategic plan that is focused on early childhood development, post-secondary education, green space preservation, and the arts.

Farley is a 20-year public relations veteran with experience in media relations; employee, financial and marketing communications; community affairs; speechwriting; and creative services. His professional experience includes communications director roles at Cox Enterprises, Inc., British Telecom and Contel Corporation. In addition, he was a senior vice president at Cohn and Wolfe Public Relations in Atlanta, where he launched and managed the agency’s corporate relations and technology group.

Farley’s responsibilities will include all Foundation-related internal and external written and oral communications, including media relations, speechwriting, annual report creation and events management. He also will assist in communications activities of the other Blank-owned businesses.

The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation strives to foster opportunity for children and youth and to enhance the quality of life in the communities it serves: Atlanta; Beaufort County, South Carolina; and Maricopa County, Arizona. Since 1995, the Blank Family Foundation has awarded more than $130 million to enhance education, preserve green space, sustain the arts and spark collaboration among its nonprofit partners. Arthur M. Blank created the Foundation to share his civic values and the joy of giving with his family.

Mr. Blank is owner & CEO of the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Force. He co-founded The Home Depot, the world’s largest home improvement retailer, in 1978 and retired from the company as co-chairman in 2001.
