In the critical early years of a child's life, a fair start can make a world of difference, especially for children challenged by a lack of resources or distressed living environments. These children are at the risk of poor birth outcomes, limited parental support, compromised health, inadequate learning opportunities and, in extreme cases, violence at home and elsewhere.

Through Better Beginnings, we will support efforts that develop systems of support for young children and their families, strengthening the effectiveness of services provided and mobilizing leaders from different sectors to improve success in life for our community's youngest and most vulnerable members.

Our Better Beginnings work is focused only in the City of Atlanta.
